Hi folks,
I searched the forum for ‘logs’ and ‘logging’, but couldn’t find info on this…
I installed a Mi Casa Verde VeraLite unit and a Yale Z-Wave deadbolt in a rental cabin we own and want to see logs of what PINs are entered when as well as when the deadbolt is locked. Unfortunately, the ‘logs’ I see on the cp.mios.com portal only show that some sort of activity occurred with the lock, not whether it was locked or unlocked, nor by which pin.
Is there a way to get this more detailed info? Logging options? A logging app for the Veralite?
Thanks in advance for any help!?
Russ
In general, I find the [tt]Log Viewer[/tt] app described here:

absolutely invaluable.
It lets you filter Vera’s logs and remove the dross so you can see the good stuff.
However, whether that helps depends on what the lock writes to the log in the first place.

Thanks for the info guys! I installed the logging app and it runs perfectly. I can decipher which events are related to the Yale lock locking/unlocking/code entry and by whom.
Alas, since this is for a rental cabin, I need to retrieve this info remotely. This logger seems to only work when you’re on the local network. I VPN’d into work to test it remotely, and sure enough, a remote browser can’t connect.
One workaround would be to install a server at the cabin and remote into it to view logs, but that’s a little extreme.
You would think that the log display on mios.com would provide useful information.
