You could download the virtual switch add on and then you could tell scene 1 to delay the 10 minutes and turn on virtual switch 1.
Then use virtual switch 1 as trigger to trigger sunset scene. You can always use it as an additional trigger if you have existing trigger on the scene already.

The countdown plugin would be the ticket, and it means you can stop/cancel the scene running if necessary. You don’t need any code.
