I get a message when I try to increase the email notification limit: “Maximum number of notifications by email cannot exceed 1500”. Let’s say I use this device for several years. If I ever reach the limit of 1500, how on earth I can reset it? Do I have to replace the whole unit to get new emails? If it is, this is kind of stupid because for those of us who have unlimited access to resources (like Internet and such), we don’t care about how many emails will be generated by the unit. Enforcing a 1500 limit is really stupid.
Also take into consideration that just because you have unlimited resources does not mean MCV does. It costs money to for the servers that take care of the notifications as well as the bandwidth it uses. In which MCV does not charge you for.

Oh… not I get it. I didn’t realized that all this data has to route through the Vera servers. Yes you are right… the reason I posted this question is there is no point having motion sensors if that sensor is not sending message when needed. In the long run this limit could cause a problem.
I wish VeraLite and Vera3 boxes have the option to work as independent stand along units with built in web servers for advanced users. This way the unit will bypass all connection the Vera company for people like me.
