In my home cinema, I have a projector, (Marquee 9500) that must not be powered off when it is ‘on’.

What I would like is for Vera to switch it off when it is ‘off’ ;D ;D
Basically when the power goes down to less than 50W for, say, 5 minutes, I’d like vera to switch it off, along with the rest of the equipment in the home cinema.

The projector has its own Everspring 158, and the rest of the equipment their own 158’s.

This would be useful for a lot of things, but for my home cinema it would be great.

Ideas? I’m sure this can be done, but I am still such a noob :cry:

Well first thing is that you need to have a power switch that supports reading the power output of what is connected to it. This can be done with the smartswitch.

Yes, I have this! I have both micro smart switches and, in this case, the Everspring 158 plug switches.
But I guess some LUA magic is needed to do the triggering?
