i have the hrt4-zw thermostat connected to my boiler then set up on vera2 it does recognize the horstmann transmit failed with code 1 keeps appearing cant seem to configure the unit from my dashboard would be grateful for help on this one driving me crazy
Welcome to club, I have spent the last three weeks setting pairing and deleting the HRT4! At the moment I have it paired with Vera and the ASR I get the current room temperature and set point information from the HRT4 on the dashboard but I am also unable to change the set point by Vera.
I am using 1.1.1245 firmware on my Vera and I no longer get the “transmit failed code 1” this has now been replaced with “Failed, waiting to retry when node wakes up” however the set point has still never changed.
If you put the thermostat into listen mode (LI) in the installer menu it is possible for Vera to send and confirm “Transmit Ok” set point changes, although now under the new firmware the set point changes to the correct set point and them immediately changes to 21.
I had a support request ticket in three weeks ago MCV responded last week asking for the support to be enabled again and to send them the code. Following this I had an email today informing me “It should Work”
In the mean time, you can’t just delete the device (or better remove it) ?
I don’t have any problems removing mine, however in normal operating mode Vera won’t send any set point changes to the HRT4 so it’s not causing any problems with the heating. Physical set point changes made on the stat immediately show on the dashboard without any problems.
So at the moment I can just use this as a temperature sensor along with event notification if the set point is physically changed above 25.
