I have this thermostat and have been useing it for a while and all of a sudden it is telling me it ( COMMUNICATION LOST ). I tryed to RF10 (Z-Wave Inclusion ) to try to Exclude it to see if i could Include it in my network agian and it will not let me change this setting ( set on 1 now ). I have tried to do a RF 20 ( Node Information ) and it will not let me change this setting ( set on 0 ). So I went looking for 0710 ( RESET ) and the number on my thermostst dont go to 0710 ?
Not sure what to do?

Ours do this infrequently, but it happens. It looks to me like the protocol engine on the z-wave module gets stuck. What has worked consistently for us to is simply to remove the stat from the wall (power) for a few seconds, and then replace it. The battery just keeps the settings alive, everything else gets to start over. This seems to include the z-wave module–it always seems okay after this “reboot”.

It might be a problem with the on-board battery getting low as well.
That coupled with some power glitches could cause some problems.
