Home Security Devices & Feature w/ Vera

I’m want to use Vera in place of a dedicated wireless home security product such a Elk Gold.
There are several basic home security system features that i am trying to find an an equivalent Z-wave product or device to fill in the gaps. These include the following items:

  1. Telephone AutoDialer - to place notification calls to local law enforcement & owner over copper. Z-wave triggered?

    Vera's website states that it can make a call?  How does this function?  Note: copper still has a much higher on time rate than cable, cell or other communication protocols.  So security professionals would prefer a 2nd means of notification over traditional copper phone lines!!

  2. Entry access panel - Allowing independent access to the property or zone using a user code to arm or disarm an event or theme in Vera?

  3. Alarm Siren - does anyone make a z-wave triggered wired or wireless alarm siren?

This is a very exciting product… Hoping there are solutions to these type of issues… ???[/b][/b]

  1. It will be available in the future, right now vera can send sms text messages and email messages based of events
  2. Right now it suppers full user access ( users that can modify settings/create scenes etc) and Normal User which can only view and access items shown on dashboard.
