"Hey Siri" Integration

Firstly, Thanks for a great app!! I`ve used the Premium version for about a year and love the interface.

Now that apple has allowed third party developers access to the “Hey Siri” API, Do you have any plans to integrate Veramate with “Hey Siri” on IOS?

I think for many of us that would probably work better then the dragon naturally speaking functionality.

I already looked into it as soon as it was announced and details given to developers.

But unfortunately, like most Apple notifications, it’s all PR spin. Sirikit is still highly restricted !!! You can only hook into it in certain areas (domains)

SiriKit support is divided into domains, each of which defines one or more tasks that can be performed. In order to support SiriKit, apps must support one of the following domains:

VoIP calling
Messaging
Payments
Photo
Workouts
Ride booking
CarPlay (automotive vendors only)
Restaurant reservations (requires additional support from Apple)

Which obviously VeraMate doesn’t come under. This would again have to come under HomeKit, which, also is highly restricted and requires mostly hardware support. Maybe iOS11 :frowning:
