New to the z-wave game. I have a VeraPlus with UI7 version 1.7.2138. I am having an issue with my Vision ZG8101 (Monoprice 11987) sensor.
I have changed the parameters to:
device_type: urn:schemas-micasaverde-com:device:DoorSensor:1
device_file: D_DoorSensor1.xml
device_json: D_DoorSensor1.json
to make the sensor appear as a door sensor rather than a motion sensor.
However, the sensor insists upon sending alerts at state change even when the mode says it should not send alerts. Is there any way to “heal” this so that the sensor only sends system alerts when the mode says it should? I would like the sensor to function like a door sensor, so that it only sends alerts when it is armed.
