Help with RJ45 to Serial Adapter

Hello, I just cannot get my Vera 3 (UI5) to work with my Visonic Powermax panel. I have the PowerLink2 installed.

I am starting to question if my Tripp Lite B090-A9F DB9F - RJ45 Modular Serial Adapter is the problem. I had purchased and installed the Visonic RS232 Kit, I accidentally threw away the included RJ45 to Serial Adapter

So I went on Amazon and purchased the Tripp Lite B090-A9F DB9F - RJ45 Modular Serial Adapter.

Do you know if this is the problem?? Do I need to spend $65 to buy the whole Visonic RS232 Kit just for the silly RJ45 to Serial adapter?

UPDATE. FYI - The Serial to RJ45 adapter I listed from Amazon DOES work. It’s only $9.99 and a good alternative in case you lost the one that came with the RS232 kit from Visonic
