Help with Lua Basics

Hi all,
I have a noob question. :slight_smile:

For a luup.variable_get command where are the values in parenthesis obtained?

Example
luup.variable_get(“urn:upnp-org:serviceId:SwitchPower1”,“Status”, 114)

I know the ‘114’ is the device ID.
I’m guessing ‘Status’ is on the Advanced>Variables tab for the device.?
Where in the UI (UI7) do I find ‘urn:upnp-org:serviceId:SwitchPower1’ and ‘Status’?

Hover the mouse over the variable names and you will see a tooltip with what you are looking for.

Nice. Thanks! Is there a place I can copy that so I don’t have to type it in? I’m slightly lazy…

Lol, maybe in json data or maybe if you install AltUI. But not in the regular vera interface.
