I often find myself up later than is good for me on weeknights. I have created a scene which will have VeraAlerts tell me to go to bed at a certain time but I want it’s execution to depend on several factors. First, I don’t want it to fire if I’m already in bed (the bed sensor reads not tripped). Second I would like it to not fire if I don’t have to work early the next day. Unfortunately the Google Calendar switch plugin isn’t so savvy as to be able to look into the future so #2 is dead in the water. Also I want to have many possible scenes with different messages to me about going to bed and have the main scene randomly select one. Then if I’m still not in bed after a certain period of time I would like to get a whole new, more assertive array of randomly selected messages. I figure this would be a perfect job for one or more of the PL plugins.
Does anyone have any ideas on where I should begin?
