Heath Zenith Command line

Hi,

I would like to know if I can use a vera3 or veraLite to control my Heath Zenith Command line products. I already have my house wired with this product so I really dont want to replace it but I am looking for a way to control my command products with my phone or tablet

Nope. These products operate at around 315MHz, a completely different frequency and protocol than Z-Wave(908MHZ in the U.S.), so Vera can’t talk to them.

This is is probably the biggest problem in wireless home automation(cost is a close second). Each manufacturer thinks that their way is the only way and they all make incompatible products. It’s not just that Vera can’t talk to Heath Zenith Command, it’s that nothing can talk to Heath Zenith Command besides Heath Zenith.
