I read this thread [url=http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php?topic=3162.0]http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php?topic=3162.0[/url] but am still having problems paring the device with my new vera2. I have tried to exclude and then include and no results.
Here is what I do: I put the vera2 into include mode. Insert the 3 batteries into the HRDS1 and then press the program button. Nothing happens on the vera. Do I need to press and hold the program button until it pairs or should just pressing it once do the trick? Anybody get this paired with a vera2 correctly?

OK ran across another thread which recommended plugging in the batteries when it was in include mode and pressing the program button 3 times quickly to get it to go into include more on the device itself. Worked great!
did you include the device within the first 10 seconds of putting the battery in? Did you try excluding it before you include? I would put Vera2 in the exclude mode, put the batteries in, and within 10 seconds press the little switch on the sensor. I would then take the batteries out, put Vera2 in include mode, put batteries back in and immediately press the little switch on the sensor again. I remember having a terrible time with this.
