Has anyone tried to connect a IP2IR or WF2IR using a PS3 Adaptor?

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to find out if it is possible to control my PS3 using the iTech IP2IR or WF2IR with my existing Logitech PS3 Adaptor? I have searched the Internet to see if it is possible, however the info is very confusing to say the least. Some say that it is possible, but they do not provide any details. I’d just like to know if it is possible, what they had to do to get it going, or what have others done to to control their PS3 via iTech. I eventually plan to purchase a IP2IR and control it via iRule.

I have not tried this, but it will definitely work as I have used other learning remotes in the same manner. The caveat being I can’t get my ^%$#@! device to work.

Basically you would use the iLearn app to pull the IR codes from your Harmony and then create a new device (where I am stuck) that you could then use in scenes.

I think that’s where you’re heading at least. :slight_smile:
