greenwave 6 port powernode missing kwh meters

just got greenwave 6 port powernode, which does not seem to update the e2-e6 child devices…
any guidance on getting it work ?

Same problem here!
Not much help, I just noticed that e1 gives the total kWh for all 6 plugs in total, where as the other one gives the kWh for the powernode itself (which is 2W).

This device is one of the most challenging devices in the zwave world.
So many child devices…
Also other platforms do not support this (HC2 and Homeseer)

I found out that the radio of the greenwave devices is very weak

Any news already?

yup
we are working on it to get it work. i mailed greenwave reality for specs and parameters which the device uses but till now i do not even get a reply mail. mcv is going to inquire on their own behalf and we are going to see what this brings.
the kwh reading of the device seems to be correct , it is just not displaying. the values being displayed on the parent device and the child device e1 and sometime e6 are not correct. the parent device gives the wattage on the port e1 and sometimes e1+e2.
if you look at the device you notice it has a wheel on the side with numbers on it. there is a lock symbol which makes the device stop responding to switch-commands through z-wave. there are also numbers 1 till 0.
here is how you would include this in a vera z-wave network :
set the device wheel to 1 (green)
in the vera look for new z-wave devices.
press the button on the side of the 6-port
it will show up on the vera.
wait a bit till it finished scan and add the found device.
in the devices screen in ui5 goto the settings of the child devices and set them all to group 1 by hand
then set the parent device to group 1
after saving do a z-wave network repair.
now look at the child-devices and see if e1 - e6 have a parameter KWH in the advanced settings of each
it also need the multi-device capabilities set in parameters as it is seen as 6 child-devices switches with their own energy-measurement. probably this is where the problem is. multi-capabilitiy devices on a multi-capability device.
if anyone can find out which parameters are used by the device or can show insight on how it operates with z-wave please let us know.

its not the radio… its the device being reconfigured and incorrectly adressed. in fact its a very advanced device which resets itself and is hardcore idiot-proof , it puts itself to power-saving mode when no electricity is drawn from the child-devices even when on. you see it flash green (complete circle) and white then .

Any progress on reading correct watt and kwh values? Seems it’s up and running on Homeseer www.domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7291&start=15
