I was regretting having to buy 4 y-adapters to get my 5 needed ir ports, but found this at Best Buy… it works great…

Your device puts out enough power that all 5 ports work great… I have one plugged into a wall-jack that runs about 40 feet to the tv in the family room and it works great… now I just have to set up my control pads…
