Sounds good on paper… But so far not even a glimpse of the actual device, even if it’s in “private beta” stage (or am I missing something here?)… So far looks a lot like vaporware - the only reassuring thing is Google’s name behind it. We’ll see…
That would be cool if google jumps into this market. I’ve been told by my local utility that I should be getting a detailed dynamic report of my electrical use once all the Smart Meters are installed in my province of Ontario. It would be even cooler if Vera could tape into this energy network somehow.
