Geofencing status

Am I the only one with issues with the geofence?
Seems to be hit and miss

Thanks

Bill

You’re certainly not the only one having problems with this. The others probably just gave up asking.

As an Android user, there’s still no option for geofencing. The last update was in January, saying it’s actually already included in the developer build and there’s actually no reason why it isn’t being released. There was supposed to be feedback. But then nothing came, even after further inquiries.

I really don’t understand why so little attention is paid to user questions and requests. If they are responded to at all, it’s usually just a matter of “it’s coming, we’re working on it, it’s almost finished, it will be released with the next version.” But it won’t be.

As already mentioned, it would be desirable if the few therms currently being created here were also carefully read by Ezlo Stuff and if users’ suggestions, problems, and requests were responded to.

Hello @BillC,

Geofencing-related concerns and new feature requests for iOS have been documented and are currently being addressed by our team.

While we work on resolutions, we recommend utilizing Siri Shortcuts automations as a temporary workaround.

How to Set Up Arrive/Leave Automations:

  1. Create an Automation: You can create various types of automations, but ensure you select the Arrive/Leave feature.

Choose your location

  1. Set the Range: Adjust the geofence range by dragging the blue dot on the outer boundary line of the map.

  1. Select a Shortcut: Choose a MiOS Siri Shortcut to trigger automatically when you arrive at or leave your specified location.

Notes :

Hello @Odysee

Thank you for your feedback. You’re absolutely correct, and we sincerely apologize for the delayed response.

Regarding your inquiry: Android Geofencing is currently scheduled for release on April 17, 2025. We appreciate your patience as we finalize this feature.
