Generic IP cam updating very slowly

Using latest version of homewave of iPhone 5, current version of iOS 6…

i have a Generic IP cam which updates fine on Vera’s UI5 but on homewave it updates only every several (20?) seconds on both the control page and the full screen camera view.

I also have a foscam which updates fine.

Is there any sort of logging i can provide to help figure out the problem? Thanks.

The cam mini view on the control page only updates infrequently, by design. The full screen view updates as fast as Vera allows. 20 seconds per image does sound a bit slow though, I get about 1 a second on the Generic IP cam plugin. What type of camera is it?

it is an MJPEG stream from SecuritySpy (which is converting analog CCTV camera video)

Hey intevltr, again great app. I found this post and wondering if this is still the case with the cams being a lot more infrequent on control screen and if so is there a setting I can tweak to change this in the new version?

Just added my first foscam, works good. Can’t get pan and tilt to work yet but baby steps.
