I have searched the forum but was unable to find any info on my observation so apologies if I missed this elsewhere…
I have two GE/Jasco outdoor switches configured as just binary switches. However, one of them, under the advanced device tab shows a ModeStatus = “CoolOn”. If I hover over the ModeStatus, it shows as a HVAC_UserOperatingMode1.
Does anyone know where/why this is being displayed? The switch seems to work ok however while it does work, I get Poll failures especially at night. But my question is why does it have a ModeStatus = CoolOn when the other identical switch does not have a ModeStatus at all?
