Ge Dimmers not communicating

I got my upgrade to Vera 3. I am rebuilding my entire network from scratch. I took my Vera 3 to each node and did an exclude. THere are about 4 GE dimmers and 2 Plug-in modules that simply will not talk to my Vera 3 (include or exclude). I tried to take my Vera 2 to exclude them as well and nothing seems to work. All my other (about 30) Ge dimmers, modules and switches have worked fine. Anyway to hard reset these things?

old thread, but i’m having the same issue. A couple of my GE wall dimmers will not exclude. Any tips?

When I called GE/Jasco some months ago, I was told that there was no other way to exclude them or do a factory reset. I found that my 45609 is VERY sensitive to the length of time the paddle is pressed. My other brands require about 1 second. The 45609 needs a very brief tap. You might want to keep trying with different lengths of short taps. Otherwise, you may have a warranty issue.

Yeah, finally got it excluded/included. I had trouble with one of about 15 GE dimmers. The Intermatic wall switches also took a few tries.

I solved my problem by killing the breaker (power cycling) the switches. This then allowed me to re-establish zwave functionality.
