GE 45631 panel - scenes not available

OK so read various threads about issues in getting scenes to work from this switch, but I cannot even see the option to add scenes.

I can add the device no problem, but under the scenes tab, the entire section is grayed out… The check box to add/associate scenes is grayed out as if Vera is not recognizing this as a controller, but I can see in advanced it lists as ‘urn:schemas-micasaverde-com:device:SceneController:1’ so it appears Vera knows it is a controller…

Anybody know what I am doing wrong?

Thanks.

The 45631 controller despite the use of the word scene/scenes on this controller, it does NOT support the scene command classes at all this is according to GE/Jasco

Phenomenal.

Anyone want to buy a completely unused GE 45631?

I have been able to use the 45631 to turn scenes on and off in the Vera. You need to set the buttons to the Scenes on the Events tab of the Scene you are trying to control and then re-include the 45631.

Any chance you could be a little more specific? I don’t know how to achieve your suggestion without direction…

Thanks - hope you can help further!

Yup. No worky. Best I can do is group lights. I want to run a scene, not happening. I would actually settle for a group command as my main ambition is to arm a series of sensors. They add, but don’t respond.

There seems to be a bigger limitation. I cannot include any nodes higher that 32. When I try and do so it blinks green as is should but nothing happens when I try the group not even an orange flash. I can only include nodes up to the number 32. Also scenes dont work. Yes I have tried to re-include the 45631 after making the scenes but no go I am using 1.1.1245 firmware!

This device really only works with group mode, and one scene can be activated, at least with the lastest beta on Vera v2
