GE 45605 Z-Wave Technology Duplex Receptacle

I’ve just installed a GE 45605 Duplex Receptacle. The device was successfully added. The micasa controls the device. The blue light goes on and off with commands from the micasa and the manual toggle. The always on side is working. However, the switched side has no power.

Does this sound like a configuration issue? Any suggestions? I’ve uninstalled it from the micasa and reinstalled and the same result. I’ve powered off the breaker and no change.

Sounds like the internal relay might be defective. Do you hear it click when you turn it on and off?

If the blue light changes, it sounds like it is getting the command.

There is a click when the signal is received.

I have a few light switches on the system and it sounds just like them, just doesn’t power the outlet when the signal is received.

The blue light is on when the switched outlet is set to “off”.

The blue light goes off, when the outlet receives the on signal and comes back on when the outlet receives the off signal, but the switched outlet never powers up.

It certainly sounds defective to me.

Thanks for the feedback, I’m going to try a replacement receptacle later in the week.

I’ve got about 5 or 6 out of 20 of these switches doing this.
