GE 45602 won't turn off

Picked up a couple of these today and they seemed to work alright at first with a dimmable CFL in the lamps. After turning on load sensing, though, they just won’t turn off from the VeraLite. When I hit off they dim briefly then brighten back up to full, though the VeraLite reports them as off.

Does load sensing just not work on these devices?

Edit: After some experimenting I’ve found that these devices just plain do not work when load sensing is turned on. If variable 29 is set to 1, the devices will not turn off the lamps, even when pushing the button on the module. Set the variable to 0 and it works fine, but then what is the point of having a lamp module rather than an appliance module?

Did you try using a standard bulb?

I did. So far I’ve tried three different lamps with three different bulbs. An incandescent, standard CFL and a dimmable CFL.

I also noticed that the modules work fine after turning on load sensing. It’s not until someone actually turns a lamp on manually that the module stops being able to turn it off.

I do see where someone else posted the exact same issue earlier this year but didn’t see any solutions for it. Are people actually using these in the manner I’m trying to successfully?
