Hi All,

I am a newbie and have been searching/reading the forums on the GD00Z and it does not work with Liftmaster/Chamberlin out of the box.

I understand I will need to use a spare garage door remote and solder the GD00Z wires to the garage door remote. (Visor clip)

How do I know which wires I need to solder on the remote garage door?
Is there a video or diagram or even a little more detail instructions , that I can look and follow that would be a great help.

Any help appreciated.

The basic idea is that you will be wiring directly to the pushbutton switch contacts in either the remote or the wall switch. See these discussions, which describe a couple of different techniques and will help you identify the connection points you are looking for:
