I’ve spent some time going through this forum, and I am stuck. I’ve installed the PL Timer Switch and Generator and I can go through and create and input (my garage door sensor is open) but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to write a log event if it’s left open for more than 30 minutes or after a certain time at night.

With that log event, I’d want to get a standard text notification that the Micasaverde system generates.

Hell, I don’t even know if I do this in Program Logic Timer Switch or the Program Logic Timer Generator.

Instead of adding Actions to the conditions you would add Notifications
to have messages sent via the standard MCV notification process.

Thanks Richard, I appreciate all the hard work you have put into the app. I did look at that thread (any many more) - thus my post.

I can fire a notification when the door opens…I just can not figure out where the logic goes to not fire the notification until X time passes.

Using the example I referenced … You would add a notification on the PLEG device when it satisfied condition: DoorLeftOpen
