Hello,
When my garage door is open I would be able to view a very visible indicator (red light) indicating to the driver that the door is opened completely.
Do you have references to give me or ideas for me to build a solution.

Put a door sensor in that senses when the DOOR is fully opened.
Used that to trigger your RED light.
Just make sure your neighbors know what your RED light means … or you may get some interesting visitors
