i finally got my 2 foscams to work. I had to add them manually. They work great, however, they do not show up as sensor switch’s. Is there an easy way to add these so I can use them to activate scenes from motion detection?

After a lot of trial and error (as well as questions on these forums) I finally got my Foscam FI8910W camera working perfectly.
What UI/Vera are you using, Jasgal? Did you download the latest firmware and install the Foscam camera plugin from the MiOS marketplace? After I installed the Foscam plugin and detected my Foscam camera manually, Vera automatically created a sensor device associated with my camera’s motion sensor which showed up under devices > sensor in my dashboard. If you don’t have any sensors for either of the two foscams and you do have the foscam camera installed, you could try deleting both cameras (which Vera will then prompt you to delete the foscam plugin), then install the plugin once more, add the cameras back in manually and they should create the associated sensors along with them.
Don’t you get any error from the plugin (like missing Vera IP address)?

My problem started that the senos did not work anymore, th camera worked fine and detects movement
I tried several settings but nothing helped so i then deleted the foscam motion sensor in vera and tried to add it again but i cannot add it any more…
The i deleted the foscam plugin, removed the camera from vera unit and reinstalled the plugin again and re added the camera.
The camera was added nicly and working in vera but it does not add the sensor at all.
I now have really no idea how to add the motion sensor again.
I am using latest firmware (vera light) and trying to add motion sensor for the FW8918 camera.
I am also running 2 other foscam camera’s and these also have NO motion sensor detects within vera.
Can anyone advise or help how to fix this?
delete foscam plugins and install the vistacam motion sensor plugin and the new vistacam plugin from apps section
