Foscam loses video

I have a Foscam 8918W setup wireless and my Vera3 recognized it right away. I have never had issues with the camera disappearing from vera, only when trying to watch the live stream - I get no stream after about 2 minutes. I have attached a pic of what shows on vera. I don’t believe its a network or wireless issue because I can go right to the ip of the camera and watch the live stream for hours.
Any suggestions?

Thanks, Rob

I tried the same but here working OK. What browser are you using?

I am currently using Chrome. When I tried using IE8 all I get is a static image and no ‘live’ stream. And this only occurs when viewing the cam thru Vera. With either browser going right to the camera itself works fine.

Ok, i am also using Chrome, should be ok then.
Maybe you could check your log files to see if something is indicated after you loose the stream

After the camera loses video I see the following in the log:

Well… Here i need to stop but maybe MCV or others can do something with this info?

i was just thinking: i know that your camera is working well, but would there be any difference if you get the camera connected via Lan instead of Wifi.
May be worth trying to see if the problem then still persists.

Unfortunately not an option at the moment, but I will give that a shot as soon as I have a chance to move the thing.

Old post, but did anybody get a fix on this problem? ???

The behavior of my camera is more erratic, sometime when I want to watch the live stream its OK ;D, other times its not :'(, and then some times it works but loses the image if I start Panning/Tilting :-.
Edit: Forgot to mention the strangest one, image loads only half of the frame and then loses it completely :o

Like fellow member krauthwood, I’m using chrome as a browser and my camera is wireless (Foscam FI8910W) but have a Veralite.

I’v had no problem with my app (AutHomationHD 3.03.0) only wished I could use my camera presets. Great app btw garrettwp

Bump ??? :-[

I have the same issue but gave up on it. I now just use an app (CamViewer) on my phone/tablet or browse direct to camera.

Not much help, just letting you know!

I read in another thread that removing the cameras Mac address in advanced setting may help/fix the issue

This is a known issue which hasn’t been fixed.

Tried erasing the Mac address but still no go.
Thanks for all your responses.
