This isn’t exactly Vera related, but I thought I would see if anybody has an idea.
My parents have a Foscam FI8910W at their cabin (out of state). It occasionally loses network connection and has to be powered cycled. So we purchased an Aeon Labs appliance switch to control via Vera. We installed it last week while my parents were there, and everything worked perfectly. I could power cycle the switch, and the camera would come back just fine.
Today, I noticed the camera was down so I powered cycled the switch; however, it does not have an ip address in DHCP nor does the Aeon Labs switch show any power consumption. I know the camera is plugged into it because nobody has been in the house since. We are using wireless versus wired, but the weird thing is the lack of power consumption.
Any ideas on what is going on or how to fix remotely?
