Fortrezz SSA2 siren strobe alarm recognized as a dimmable lamp

I’ve added the Fortrezz SSA2 to my Vera3. It works but is recognized as a dimmable light, is it normal?

Any way to see it as a security device or something related?

That is normal. Presumably Fortrezz chose to represent it as a dimmer, so it can be controlled by most types of controllers.

It would be cool if the dimmable setting adjusted the alarm volume, but that’s not the case (that I can tell). Has anyone been able to implement the Fortrezz alarm a bit better?

The Fortrezz ZWave Strobe/Alerm has a strobe only (dimmed 1-29%), Siren only (30-59%), or Stobe and Siren (dimmed 70%+) options
