Floor heating control

Can anyone advise what parts are required to make this work for services apartments.

  1. The thermostat must have the ability to stop the temp being set over some level.
  2. Can the thermostat be connected to floor heating system. It woudl be talking to the Floor heating manifold.

I’m not really familiar with how HVAC systems work, or what a thermostat would need to do differently for a floor heating. Did you check on our shop in the thermostat category? There are several models for things like heat exchangers and single/double stage and such. Unfortunately I don’t really know what all that HVAC-talk means, but we have tested that the thermostats work with Vera and she controls them properly. Would one of those models do what you wanted? If not, what about using the thermostat to report the temperature, and then separately using an on/off toggle relay switch to respond to those events?
