FireHD to Echo (Alexa) to Vera to Remotec IR blaster

I am getting ready to try to link the Echo to Vera Plus then to Remotec ZXT-310US, BW8371US. Purpose is to use the new FireHD with Alexa hands free to create a voice activated home theater control system.

I already have 43 devices linked through Alexa to Vera Plus and in the last few days the response time is FANTASTIC.

Now I need to replace my 7 remotes and lighting controller with voice activation.

Any pointers or ideas before I start?
