findvera login, log files

Am I supposed to be able to login to findvera.com with my admin login from cp.mios.com? I can get into cp.mios.com fine, but at findvera, the same user/pw do not work.

I was attempting to find my log file using the local link but it gave me an error. I read that local web viewing of logs does not work, but I could see them at findvera…which I can’t get in to.

  1. what’s the deal with findvera?
  2. how do I view logs?

findvera is for older firmware. Look under the Events tab after you log in to cp.mios.com. You can look at events by date and device.

I see some devices listed under Events, and a calendar which does show events. But only about 1/3 of my zwave modules are listed.

Is there no local way to get logs? Homeseer makes a .txt file with all log activities.

edit…just noticed a log to usb drive under the local logs tab. does this work?

I believe that only devices that have notifications that have occurred show up in the list, but not sure.

You can look at the log files by using telnet to get into Vera, but I cannot tell you how. You can probably find the instructions on this board.
