All Fibaro switches are now prohibited from being sold in Sweden. All electric appliances in Sweden are scrutinized by a government agency. The Fibaro switches have been found not to comply with certain criteria in terms of isolation distances on the pcbs. They are to small to guarantee safety. Anyone else heard of something similar in other countries?
I don’t think there’s a ban on use. I also have a bunch of these things and I have no immediate plans to replace them. However, I also have a bunch of Fibaro door sensors and the build/design of those doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. They are ridiculously crammed and the reed switch has broken on two of them due to faulty component placement (too short leads).
