Fibaro sensor eating through batteries....

I have 2 Fibaro door and window sensors that have been eating through batteries. I’ve turned off polling and set the wakeup time to 12 and even 18 hours, but nothing seems to matter. I have now hardwired one of them (I use it to get the pool temperature) to the 3.3v output of a nearby arduino so it’s no longer an issue. I’m looking for a solution to this before I do something similar with this one and replace it with a Zigbee hinge sensor. These 1/2AA batteries are too expensive to burn 1 a month or so…

Exclude them, resetting to factory default. Then Include them again, but don’t fiddle with wakeup or polling settings, leave these at default.
