Fibaro RGBW set up in Vera

Hi, what do I need to change/set up in RGBW in Vera to follow switch connected to IN1:

  1. turn on when a switch is pressed
  2. turn off when stop pressing the switch?

I have looked to the RGBW manual, but the set up is not much for Vera…

You need to change the device’s params.
Go to Device Options, then Add configuration Settings and put this:

  • 14, 2 byte dec, and input the calculated value as reported here:

the problem is that I do not see anything in Device Options:

Managed to do this finally by removing the device and adding back.

But what I am doing wrong: I send 1 minute signal to RGBW and it turns on after the signal ends, not when I start sending?

I use the Fibaro RGBW and notice that it is very slow to respond to commands. For example, my Vera tells the unit to turn on or off in response to another dimmer going on/off, and the LED strips very often lag behind by many seconds, even a minute.

Not sure why, but I’ve definitely checked all relevant parameters (such as fade time), and have come to believe that’s just how Fibaro devices behave. (I only own one, but instead of actual RGBW operation, it controls 4 WHITE LED strips mounted under-cabinet in my kitchen. No switches involved.)

So perhaps you’re doing everything “right” already??

Yes, I tried with 15 seconds impulse, but the same - turns on after the impulse ends… There must be something quite simple

and I tried all options from parameter 14, but without any success… :frowning:

Anyone has any idea?
