Fibaro RGBW newbie questions

Haven’t attempted anything yet but want to be sure I ordered the correct items for what I want to do so hoping someone can advise. Tried searching but am getting confused. I want to put LED strips (RGBW) on the bottom of my kitchen cabinets as well as along the tops of them (we have a gap above the cabinets so they’ll shine on the ceiling). I’d like to be able to dim and turn on/off the strips separately from each other. So my question is do I need multiple Fibaro RGBW controllers to do control each strip separately? If not…how would this be wired using the DC/GND/IN1/IN2/IN3/IN4/R/G/B/W connections on the controller?

Also…will these items work for what I want to do? Bottom of cabinets is about 6’…top is about 10’.

  1. Power supply is not big enough for 16ft of tape. According to data, 1 roll (16ft) draws 4.5A. Personally I would look for double required output to keep the heat of the power supply down. Experience has shown that they get hot at anywhere near pull power out.

  2. You can only individually control 1 strip of RGBW tape per Fibaro. If you only use single colour tape you can control 4 tapes individually.
