I have a few of these, and they are brilliant until it comes to change a battery. I read somewhere to have them in a opned state when changing the battery. SO i tried opening the door, replace battery, close the sensor again and close the door. It didnt work. So i opened the sensor, pressed the internal switch a few times, nothing. So i pressed configure node on the device, then pressed the internal switch on the sensor a few times. It responded with the slow flashing, which confirms (as far as i know) that its configured correctly. Closed it and waited. The device has gone from waiting for name to the red Unable to get information on node, and its stuck there. When i open/close the door i get the single blue flash on the sensor, and i can see the device in my Vera changing state as well, so its working fine, except for that silly message. How can i resolve this (without excluding including again if possible)
I have the same problem. After replacement of battery it will not work any more. I have tried reset and inclusion again. Same symptom as Mikee123 ,When i open/close the door i get the single blue flash on the sensor, and i can see the device in my Vera but not changing state
If you open the door/window, then change the battery, close the sensor cover again, then close the door and wait a while, that seems to work better. Not all the time, but I have changed batteries a few times with this method and they are still working fine. With the exception of the stupid cannot dtect device error I get in Vera Plus but thats a different story
