Fibaro dimmer 3-wire connection and the Fibaro Bypass

Hi all,

Ik have a Fibaro dimmer in a 3-wire setup (including the Fibaro bypass) to prevent LED bulbs ‘glowing’ when you switch off the light. Is the bypass necessary for a 3-wire setup? When I remove the bypass everything still works fine.

In the bypass’s manual they only talk about the 2-wire setup.
