I just put the one on which the door sensor is not working in the freezer (FGK-101). Seems to work.
lol i didnt even think of that. i assumed the device would be freezing and die on me if i stuck it inside.
i have a metal fridge so i also assumed that it would’nt work in there being a cage of farraday but it seems this stuff keeps on amaze me.

lololol! you know what is the funniest part: I just realized this morning the reed sensor on the device is working again! So putting it in the freezer actually fixed it! :o
What I’d expect though is a drastically decreased battery life at minus 22 celsius.

would expect that being inside the fridge it would take more power to transmit but you could be right there
i have a smoke sensor and works well with fibaro universal sensor;
smoke sensor inputs : +, -, NO, COM, NC
- and - for power supply of smoke and universal together,
NC for universal input 2
COM for universal second blue wire (ground)
Now im trying to use fibaro door-window sensor with smoke sensor;
my smoke sensor have power and working.
how can i connect smoke sensor and fibaro door-window?
I received and installed my door sensor about a week ago and I was very lucky with the inclusion process; I succeeded on the first try. I was prepared for at least 5 - 10 tries after reading this thread 
Everything works perfectly and I’ve set up some alarms for when the sensor is tripped. But this evening I noticed that the led on the sensor flashes rapidly 15-20 times every one or two minutes. The only thing I can find about this in the manual ([url=http://www.fibaro.com/files/instrukcje/eng/DoorWindowSensor%20FGK-101-107%20ENG_v21-v23.pdf]http://www.fibaro.com/files/instrukcje/eng/DoorWindowSensor%20FGK-101-107%20ENG_v21-v23.pdf[/url]) is that there is an inclusion problem, but since everything works as it should, that doesn’t seem very likely. In the first week, the battery is already down to 93% so if it continues this way, it isn’t going to last the expected 2 years.
I did not change anything in the default settings of the sensor, and when I click “poll now” in the settings panel of the sensor, it shows it can not poll the device right now. I’ve included a screenshot with my settings and the error in the dashboard.
Does anyone know what to do?
I had same problem.
Check your Vera controller whether it is still in inclusion mode.
On operating manual: under Battery Use > Note: “LED blinking rapidly = inclusion error”
Can’t poll the device right now because under Setting > “Poll this node at most once every” 10800 seconds = 3hours
My battery level is still 100% after about 1 month use as a Door bell sensor, light turns on when bell rings only at night.

I’m not quite sure what you mean with this. To include the sensor in my system I unplugged the Vera and moved it next to the door where the sensor is attached to. Inclusion was successfull and I turned off the Vera (with the battery-button) after that before I plugged it in again. After that it is not in inclusion mode anymore, right?
If I’m wrong, could you tell me the steps to get it out of inclusion mode?
I have some problems with this sensor as well. Inclusion is no problem, but it only sends a signal (led blinks) when the magnet is close to the sensor (door closes/ not tripped). But when I remove the magnet (no signal is sent). When I poll the senosr and wake it up the correct status is always send.
I tried including/excluding numerous times, but to no avail. Also reconfiguring has not solved the problem. Since this is my second device (first one operated for four months without a problem, but then the reed-contact got stuck) I have very low confidence in these devices.

It’s in Dutch, I did follow that video as well (I’m Dutch so that was easy), but got the problem described earlier.

I just got my first Fibaro water sensor today, but I can’t get it to show up in Vera. I’ve done the inclusion and the lights flash correctly on the Vera, but it never shows up in the user interface. I removed it and re-added it again, but still no luck. Anyone have any ideas?
I got one just last week. Followed the excellent Vesternet application note. All worked, but looked like the flood sensor didn’t actually trigger Vera. Turns out (after several include/excludes) that I simply hadn’t refreshed my browser to see the updated display… did you do a browser refresh?
If that’s not it, can you do a Luup request for sdata and see the device listed there?
thats probably a stupid one …
i want to connect a Reed switch to a Door Sensor.
however due to the physical setup the reed works reverse.
2 things:
- can i reverse the Trigger somehow ?
- is the battery lifetime affected by doing so ?

Just wondering how you sampled the temp reading from the sensor and stored the data to produce the graph
