I’m not using open weather as it’s year another thing I have to resister for. I was using trying to use Ezlo weather so I didn’t have to register for yet another service with tokens and such.
What happened to Ezlo weather? Why is there no native weather on the Ezlo controller like the Vera? I understand that it’s more flexible but it could come with native weather and and ability to disable it and choose something else if you would like.
I asked Anton earlier, he is going to find out if and when Ezlo Weather will return to the Nucal Cloud Services?
I had a play about with one of the test dev sites and Open Weather was kinda working, but they had some issues, which I reported to them. Seems Nucal Cloud Services is not quiet ready for its new release again.
Any word, it’s been over a week.
Not heard anything new yet.
The OpenWeather Nucal service was kinda of working again and pulling down weather data from their cloud service, but I was having issues in Meshbots then saving that data to a local variable, that bit was not working.
And I’ve not heard anything about Ezlo Weather and why that is now missing.
I can ask them again.
Honestly at this point I give up. Don’t bother.
Is anyone testing the Netatmo weather station NuCAL cloud service?
I’ve been trying to use the netatmo sensors. For over 2 years promises were made to integrate these. Support was involved to ‘fix’ the nucal integration.
In the end I spun up a HA instance and use Reactor to bind together the ezlo hub and the netatmo sensors. This approach has been stable for more than a year now, though complexity of the setup has increased quite a bit.
Why after 4 years does some much stuff seem to not be integrated? Is it because they pretty mulch lost 3rd party plug-in development?
