Is the Ezlo/Mios platform keeping up with competition?
If you were new coming into the home automation game why would/should you choose Ezlo/Mios over its competitors?
What does the Ezlo/Mios platform offer as advantages or as leading the way over the competition?
I’ve been asking AI and I know where it ranks it I’m curious for actual user feedback and please include how it ranks/rates against Vera.
1-Hub/controller agnostic dashboard (Multi Hub/controller)
2-Hub/controller agnostic rule engine (MeshBots)
3-Ability to run MeshBots in a docker pcontainer
4-Multi -Hub/controller capability
5-Local first mentality thru and thru
6-pretty decent hardware
and a nice cloud infrastructure for remote as well as videos.
not to forget full AI capabilities currently and more to come
I don’t see device support mentioned, especially full featured drivers.
Also what about subscription free for access
How do maintain local control if I have to log into a website?
we have a full device support site showing all supported devices for both zwave and zigbee.
also we are about to launch new EzloPi Wifi based devices too…
Cloud costs money, maintaining applications, compatibility etc costs money. The business model of charging once and supporting 10 years is dead…and companies who are doing that will struggle imo.
You don’t have to logon to website to do local control…
-native apps connect locally
The other thing I don’t see are community developed apps to fill any gaps. With Vera there was a host of apps developed by the community. Am I missing something?
Also it seems as though anytime I try something that should be basic functionality it ends up with a support request.
