Don’t see any issues resolved that I’ve mentioned.
I still can’t add any cloud services.
Still no Ezlo weather
I still get quota exceeded error when logging on to my controller
Still no integration with geofencing and house modes. Geofencing is still unreliable.
Still battery life issues especially with zigbee devices
Still get unknown error when trying to reboot device
Nest thermostats still displaying temp out to 13 decimal places.
Is there really another page with release notes now?
EZlogic/Dashboard/MiOS App/Firmware Release Notes here:
https://support.ezlo.com/hc/en-us/sections/14780644379548-Release-Notes
And Product Updates and Release Notes there:
This should all be brought together centrally instead of creating more and more distributed information.
Hi, on my model the update is stopped for many months.
Which release notes page is official? When I read “production-182” means still beta?
Update option is enable and I did several power cycles
Thanks for your help:
- Model: h2.1
- Controller ID: 90000464
- Uptime Info: 9d 16h 55m 42s
- FIRMWARE: 2.0.51.2471.8
- Advanced Scenes: 1.71
Indeed we have a new page with Release Notes located at https://updates.ezlo.com/
This is a newer initiative to address specifically this concern about centralizing everything in one place.
It already contains everything posted on support.ezlo.com and we will continue to post all new updates on https://updates.ezlo.com moving forward.
This will be the main page that should be followed for the latest updates.
I think if it says Production that means its not a beta but a live public release.
My Ezlo Plus says its firmware is 2.0.59.2759.8, so your controller on 2.0.51.2471.8 is on older firmware for sure.
@JonathanB Please can you check his controller and if it is enrolled in to the beta program or not ? And why it might not be updating?
Hello @cw-kid,
The feature for user-visible updates is already on the table, and we will ensure that it includes a way to update to Beta versions.
Thank you!
How about a way to force an update on an Ezlo Plus hub? Mine is on verson 2.0.44.2279.11. I see posts here mentioning versions much later than that.
Hello @tinman,
That’s correct! The new feature with user-visible updates will introduce an interface that allows you to check for available firmware versions and initiate updates on demand.
We’ve flagged your controller for an update to the latest firmware version (176) - 2.0.59.2759.8. Please disconnect the power adapter and plug it back in. Your Ezlo controller will blink purple for a while and then restart to complete the update.
We’ll be standing by for your feedback.
OK - Firmware updated to 2.0.59.2759.8
Thanks
@lord55 Did you want them to update the firmware on your controller also? As you were asking about it.

How about auto updates that just work properly?
Hello @Tim88
We understand that automatic updates are a key part of providing a good experience. We know and apologize because the updates haven’t met your expectations. Our team is continuously working to improve their stability and performance.
Personally I always thought auto updates should be optional.
Yes I agree they should work. However I want to choose to update my controller or not.
Like we did on the Vera hubs. Sounds like we might be getting that option soon from whats been said.
I don’t disagree with user control over updates but if there’s a feature there it should work and work reliably.
We’re supposed to be getting a lot of stuff soon.
Two years ago geofencing was ‘coming soon’
Months ago we were supposed to be getting the cloud services integration rewrite and we still don’t have that.
Seems like a lot of gonna gets but we never get.
https://updates.ezlo.com/ all the updates are here…
Thanks! Update ok.
My firmware doesn’t seem to be updated again. I’ve just rebootet and I’m still on 2.0.59.2759.8. According to the release note, 2.0.65.2848.2 is the current version.
Same here, my Ezlo Plus and Ezlo Secure are still version 2.0.59.2759.8
@JonathanB Has there been any progress of some controllers not auto updating?
Here are the releases notes for the latest Production firmware:
Release Notes
October 23, 2024
Linux Firmware v2.0.65.2848.2 [production-184]
Fixes & Improvements
Fixed LTE modem issue where PDP context could be deleted permanently due to registration failure.
Enabled app stat data sending and disabled duplicate RTSP URL validation to improve system performance and data integrity.
Added rules for device/item objects filtering in ACSM (Automatically Created System Meshbots) v.0.1.
Improved metrics reporting for WebRTC v2 services.
Fix issue where the hub was not sending specific reports even while being online.
Improved logging and error reporting for ha-watcher processes.
Fixed NMA metrics uptime to use int64 format for better compatibility.
EDIT: I just rebooted both controllers, however they are still on version 2.0.59.2759.8
Maybe they should ‘flag’ all controllers that have auto update enabled to update.
Why are there still so many issues with this production controller running QA and tested code?
