Eyez-on Network Supervision issues

In the last day I have had sever network supervision disconnects and restores. I went to their website and noticed that they issued a new firmware on the 22nd. I have 3 faults on the 22nd and another 4 on the 23rd. Has others experienced this? All appears to be working find in Vera with the DSC plugin. I just want to make sure this is an issue on their end and not mine.

I haven’t had a notification for quite a while now since they put in a minimum time that had to elapse between set and clear.

Sure its not coincidental?

Just noticed this, so it looks like its now configurable. Perhaps they got rid of the time delay now and have done this instead? :

Thanks for the tip, I did not see this when looking at the forums earlier. I do not mind the network supervision faults. I just want to make sure there is no issue on my end with my network. I upgraded my router last week and moved some other equipement around and want to be sure they are not at fault.

Garret,

I moved my network recently and added back in a 16 port Linksys (cisco) managed switch and immediately afterward I started receiving network supervision messages. This indicated to me it was a similar to issues I encountered earlier on with the Cisco router (which did actual have a fault) but in this case, the switch is fully functional. I decided to setup a ping sensor and monitor the 2DS and there was no problems across the network but still receiving the error from the 2DS.

As I have always said, the 2DS is a little hypersentive to network equipment and traffic. In my cases it it does not like the Cisco switch or router but, the irony is seeing a network supervision error whilst in the same time report another event. I have actually switch off the notification and watching the ping sensor instead… So yes, I have experienced similar issues when I have employed either Cisco/Linksys equipment or a managed switch.
