Please share you experiences with the Everspring SP103 outdoor motion sensor… and alternative devices - compare/contrast if you can

I bought one and are experimenting with it. I am new in Zwave country and learning.
The paper says " the detector is designed to detect movement in a protected area" so I gather it is not for outdoor use. It looks quite tight, but when I open the backplate there is nothing to seal off the moisture. So if not from rain, the device will suffer from moisture (I think).
The detector works fine and has a wide angle (horizontally) in which its operates. It looks good to me so far.
