I cant figure out how to hook up a ca-600 given existing 3-way wiring. I did this successfully other times many years ago but as I get older I seem to have trouble figuring this out.
I figured out how the existing wiring is with normal switches but not sure how to get the ca600 wired.
In the attached pic I want the switch on left replaced with a ca600…can some help me out? Ca600 has blue red black (and green of course).
I dont understand the intermatic install manual because it tells you to install a jumper across the top two screws on the standard three way switch…which means it doesnt matter if you switch that switch on or off it will always be on.
After numerous attempts, I gave up and put back the original switch.
