Everspring SP103 Motion Sensor and Light Levels

Hi Guys,

Has anyone had any luck with the Light Level functions on this device.

Apparently it is supposed to detect light levels, the motion sensing function works great, but haven’t found anything in regards to the light level sensor.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,

How are you trying to use it?

The light sensor is really a threshold detector, motion triggers are not sent unless the light is below the preset limit.

I’ve found that using it directly associated with another Z-Wave device works best. I have an applications note and video showing how to use the HSP02 (which is very similar) to trigger a light, if that helps.
