Bought vera lite recently set up a couple of switches and plugin modules works good so far. However trying to setup this Everspring switch and it keeps saying not configured or waiting for device name any time I try to poll it or auto configure it. It shows up on my devices even has a device Id , when I try and included in any scene it doesn’t seem to respond . The date configured shows 1969???
Here is what I’m trying to achieve:
- setup the mini sensor as a trip sensor for garage door being left open.
- have vera lite scene sense the trip and flash the family room light every 2 secs.
– luup code found on this forum works it seems. When I forced the sensor . - and then once the sensor is closed again have the light stop flashing and go back to previous state or just off.
So far problem is with the sensor either not being awake or simply not properly Configured yet.
I went to the sensor opened the garage and then clicked the tamper switch 3 times in 1.5sec and then closed the tamper cover went in and sure enough the light was running my luup code to blink the family light.
Issue 1: how do you tell the scene or vera to stop flashing the light once it’s trigger by the sensor opening. Do I make a second scene to turn off or another trigger??
Issue 2: how do I properly configure this sensor .
